Dangers on the cyberspace.
The internet is vast becoming the most popular tool used in everyday living.
Almost all homes have a personal computer and access to the internet
Programs that allow you to talk to anyone, anywhere, anonymously.
People can pretend to be whomever or whatever they like.
Teens nowadays love to chat and make friends and the internet is
an excellent place to do this, however there are many hidden dangers.
Instant Messaging has become the phone for children today and
many of them are spending hours online with their friends and
sometimes strangers. But, they do not realised that MSN messengers
can be very dangerous because we don't always know whom are we
interacting with. We sometimes may think we know, unless it is our
school friend or relative, we cant really be sure.

1) Be Street Smart. We must be street smart to avoid the dangers
This is important because parents cannot protect you like in the real world
2) Be Responsible & Respectful
The Internet is a powerful tool because we can reach and influence millions directly. Therefore, it is important for every user to be responsible and treat others with respect

Use the Net with balance to enhance your real life and not to replace it
4) Embrace Inspirational
Use of Internet Embrace inspiration use of the Internet as technology can improve the society when used appropriately

- Email frauds: Emails that cheat you of huge sums of money by offering fantastic overseas financial schemes and promising great returns
Nasty or obscene emails - People hacking into your account
- People publishing your personal details (name, photograph, telephone numbers) on dating or pornographic sites without your consent
- Identity theft: When people steal your personal information
- Social engineering: When people trick you into revealing your password
- Downloading files or attachments that may have viruses. (destructive programs that masquerade as benign applications)
- Clicking on links that can pick up your personal details.
